About George
Food has always been my way of connecting with people. After co-founding one of Hungary's most popular food experience businesses for travelers, I spent over four years designing and hosting cooking classes, food tours, wine tastings, and music events. In that time, I personally led more than 1,000 experiences and had the joy of meeting incredible people from all around the world.

I grew up in a paprika-scented kitchen, where slow-cooked goulash and family wine nights taught me what Hungarian hospitality feels like. That table was my first classroom. Handy, since I was often “absent” chasing my sports career. Later, watching my father hunt for black truffles and work with them in the kitchen, I learned to honor ingredients and share the magic of these “black diamonds” authentically. I bring that same care to the city: on my food tours I personally handpick family-owned stalls and small eateries. From the Great Market Hall to beloved street-food counters, we meet the makers, taste what locals actually eat and drink, and hear the stories behind every bite.

Now, with Experiences by George, I'm excited to continue this journey on a more personal level. I focus on smaller groups to create more authentic, intimate experiences where food, culture, and connection come together. Whether we're cooking goulash over an open fire, tasting wines from family-run cellars, or exploring hidden corners of Budapest's markets, my goal is to make you feel like a local friend is showing you around.
